10:07am: Elizabeth Reinert reported she had items stolen from a storage unit in Jefferson, and they were now being sold online. The officer learned in his investigation that Reinert had not paid for several months of her rent on the storage unit, and her items were thrown out when the owner cleaned out the unpaid unit. No theft had occurred.

12:22pm: A Welfare Check was requested on a female in the 800 Block of South Chestnut Street. The officers made contact with the subject, who advised they were fine.

1:33pm: An officer provided information to a DHS Case Worker about subjects in Jefferson. DHS may open an investigation and request further assistance from police.

2:24pm: The Public Works Director requested assistance from an officer at 901 West State Street. A subject had contacted Public Works and advised a snow plow had struck his vehicle, while it was plowed around during the snow event. It was obvious the damage was not from a plow. The officers take a photo of plow marks around vehicles that have been plowed around before issuing a citation. The officer reviewed the photo, which clearly showed the plow was not close to the vehicle as it plowed around it.

3:57pm: Valerie Levy spoke with an officer in connection to a drug test collected by her DHS Case Worker. The officer advised he could not assist her with the issue.

5:55pm: Tim Pound reported the RR Crossing Arms were going up and down, without a train coming on the North Grimmell Crossing. The UPRR was contacted about the issue.

Note: All charges are merely an accusation. All defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
