The WCV wrestling team returned to the mat on Tuesday.

After a rough tournament last week, the Wildcats were focused on the meet Tuesday. They were in a quad against Southwest Valley, Underwood, and AHSTW. WCV started the tournament against host school Southwest Valley. The Wildcats had a strong performance and beat Southwest Valley, 52-28.

WCV would then move on to battle AHSTW. It wasn’t as dominating of a performance as the matchup with Southwest Valley. However, it was still a winning combination. The Wildcats beat AHSTW, 48-36. WCV would finish off the night against Underwood. Underwood gave WCV some trouble in their last tournament. The struggles would continue for WCV. The Wildcats would fall to Underwood, 12-56.

The Wildcats will be back on the mat Saturday. They’ll be in the ADM invitational. That will start at 9am in Adel.
