A special evening is planned for the Paton-Churdan home varsity basketball games tomorrow.

The “Party In The USA” event includes a performance by Spirit Squad and PC Palz. Secretary Heather Lansman says the Spirit Squad is kindergarten through third grade kids and the PC Palz are those in 4th-6th grades. Each will perform their respective dance routines between the girls and boys basketball games.

Additionally, the Churdan Lions Club will be serving a pancake supper fundraiser from 5-7pm that evening, with the menu of pancakes, sausage, a drink and dessert for a free-will donation.

The Paton-Churdan Education Association has rescheduled its silent auction baked goods scholarship fundraiser to next Friday, January 21st, due to the possible inclement weather.

Lansman explains the reason why they chose the theme of “Party in the USA” is because the kids that are performing their dance routines will be to the song “Fireworks” and the cheer kids will be doing a routine to the song of “Party in the USA.” Fans are also encouraged to wear red, white and blue clothing.
