The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The meeting will begin with several public hearings followed by resolutions to sell vacant lots, including the east 21 feet of 806 West Lincoln Way, along with the rest of 806 and 808 West Lincoln Way, 407 West Lincoln Way, and 105 and 107 South Olive Street. The Council will also set public hearings to sell 210 West Washington Street and 107 North Chestnut Street.
Additionally, the Council will consider the third reading to amend an ordinance to rezone property in the 700 and 800 blocks of West Lincoln Way from residential single family to residential multi-family. They will also consider for approval two agreements with two architect firms for an initial phase of an indoor pool and swimming pool bath house improvements, along with an administrative assistance contract with Region XII Council of Governments for a grant program for a second story apartment renovation project at 123 North Chestnut Street, along with a release of those funds for the project.
The Council will also consider approving an amendment for additional Community Development Block Grant funds for an upper story apartment project at 200 East State Street, the first payment estimate for the Greene County Animal Shelter project, a facade improvement grant application for 100 East State Street, set a public hearing for the maximum property tax levy and review committee appointments.
