The first wrestling tournament of 2022 for the Greene County Rams is the Atlantic Invitational starting at 10 a.m. This is the first year the Rams have been in this event, which features 17 teams including several that are ranked in the top 10 by IAWrestle in all three classes of Iowa high school wrestling. Greene County had been rated in the 2A top 10 up until earlier this week.

Atlantic, Glenwood, and Red Oak, are among the teams at today’s tournament and those are teams the Rams will see in the postseason, which begins four weeks from today. Others in today’s tournament are Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln, New Hampton/Turkey Valley, Riverside (Oakland), Underwood, AHSTW (Avoca), Alta-Aurelia, Audubon, Bondurant-Farrar, Denison-Schleswig, Humboldt, Interstate 35 (Truro), Sergeant Bluff-Luton, and Blair, NE.
