The Stuart City Council will meet Monday.

The Council will consider for approval hiring full time employees in the Public Works Department for streets and sewers, project assurance form for the downtown housing grant for Hotel Stuart, cemetery mowing and a utility board appointment. 

Additionally the Council will consider for approval the 2021 Community Development Block Grant, legal services agreement between the City of Stuart and Duwayne J. Dalen Attorney at law and the city financial framework.

The Council will also have a public hearing on the Urban Renewal Plan Amendment and consider the amendment for the Stuart Urban Renewal Area and consider setting a date for a public hearing on vacation of a portion of South Fremont Street for a Water Tower Project. 

The meeting will take place at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers with a virtual option listed below.
