The Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams headed out onto the court Friday night for their second game of the new year against the Ogden Bulldogs.
The Panthers girls headed into Friday night’s game with an overall record of 10-0 on the season and ranked fourth by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union in Class 2A. The Panthers came out and dominated from beginning to end as the final score of Friday night’s game was 75-4 and the Panthers girls improved to 11-0 on the season.
Panthers girls head coach Kylee Boettcher says defensively the Panthers girls attacked the passing lanes and offensively the girls moved the ball around. Boettcher says the Panthers girls played with intensity and turned takeaways into points.
For the Panthers boys team they headed into Friday night’s matchup against the Bulldogs with an overall record of 5-4 on the young season. The Panthers were looking to improve upon their record and picked up a good 65-50 over the Bulldogs and moved to 6-4 on the season.
The Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams will continue their seasons with a Monday night game when they travel to Jefferson to take on the Greene County Rams. The girls game will begin at 6 p.m. and the boys will begin their game at 7:30 p.m from Greene County High School.
