A Guthrie County electric service has made a change to its annual election meeting. 

The Guthrie County Rural Electric Cooperative had to alter its plans from an in-person annual meeting because of COVID-19 issues. The meeting will now be done with election of directors by way of a drop-off, drive-thru ballot system. 

The drive-thru will be open at the Lake Panorama Conference Center from 10:30am-1pm today.Participants will not be required to leave their vehicle but will receive their annual meeting prize, boxed lunch and written reports. The ballots will be counted and the results of the election will be officially announced through their website, Facebook and newsletter.
