Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys and girls basketball will be returning to the court tonight in an interesting matchup against rival Winterset, with both teams looking to grab key conference victories.  On the girls side, ADM comes into the matchup with a 5-6 record and Winterset enters with a 6-2 record. On the boys side, ADM is 5-4 on the year while Winterset is 5-3.

ADM and Winterset split the girls series last year, with both teams grabbing the home victory. Tiger basketball comes into the matchup with a three game winning streak under their belt while Winterset will be playing their first basketball game in 17 days due to the holiday break. Both teams feature difficult defenses with opportunistic offenses, as both sides will be trying to figure out the rubik’s cube of the others defense.

Winterset was able to grab the season sweep last year between the two teams as both were still on the hunt of looking for a new identity. ADM is coming off of a win over Carlisle on Tuesday night while Winterset plays their first game of the new year. Winterset is averaging more points per game than ADM at 60 while ADM is giving up less points per game at 48.8.
