The WCV girls basketball team was finally back on the hardcourt Tuesday.

They took on the Interstate 35 Roadrunners on the road. The Wildcats jumped out front to an early 7-0 lead after the first quarter. They would hold the lead after a six point second quarter. However, the Roadrunners would add seven points and make it 13-7 game at halftime. It was in the third quarter where the game changed. Interstate 35 outscored WCV 14-2. This would make the game 21-15 with a Roadrunners lead. The Wildcats fought hard in the fourth but couldn’t come away with the win. Interstate 35 would win 30-23.

WCV will back in action tomorrow. They’ll be on the road to take on Woodward-Granger with tipoff at 6pm.
