While the year of 2021 came to a close, the Perry Chamber of Commerce reflects on being able to hold some more normal events last year.
Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says throughout the year of 2021 there were various partners, sponsors and attendees who made the traditions possible, even though some of the events had to be altered in some way due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s been really nice to see so much participation and positivity when it comes to those things. It was so nice to host Friday Fest and Fourth of July again, to have Spooktacular and the lighted parade again, those things that really feel good for the community to get together and celebrate, it was really nice to be able to host those.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio in the year 0f 2022 the hopes are for the trend of events coming back to continue this year.
