While the weather is bitterly cold, warmer weather will eventually be here and it’s time to start thinking of summer outdoor activities. 

Adel Parks and Recreation is offering two Little Sluggers sessions for those who are ages 3-4. The program is offered for both boys and girls and is designed to give children a feel of the games of softball and baseball. 

The league is not competitive and every player will get to hit each inning and there is no scorekeeping. A parent or a guardian must also participate and games are played on Mondays and Wednesdays at Kinnick-Feller Park beginning at 6 p.m. 

The cost to participate is $35 and session one will run from June 6th-24th and session two will run from July 6th-24th.
