The first ribbon cutting of the new year for the Perry Chamber of Commerce is tomorrow for a local business. 

There will be a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the Perry Paw Spa tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. The local business offers pet styling, and boarding and grooming services by appointment only. Also, the Perry Paw Spa will be doing a raffle for one free dog grooming session for anyone who brings items to the ribbon cutting to donate to Raccoon River Pet Rescue.  

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti talks about the upcoming event. 

“It’s really exciting to build it up to be more than just a real quick photo op. They have been working from their home for a little while now so to actually have a storefront right on Willis Avenue will be really exciting, a great improvement and a great addition to our community.”
