AC/GC wrestling met up with Greene County’s wrestling team Friday to keep the competitive spirit up through winter break. Chargers Head Coach Lane Rumelhart tells Raccoon Valley Radio how beneficial these work outs are.

“Yeah, I think beyond, you know, just wrestling different partners, they also build some relationships, I saw some of the guys joking around a little bit after practice there. You know, we’re only, you know, 20 some miles away. These guys can come and wrestle each other all the time. Our rooms are always open. These guys rooms are always open. So not only benefits us during season, but probably off season a little bit, they’ll get together some more.”

The Chargers next meet will be at home against East Union and Van Meter on January 4th starting at 5:30pm.
