As the nation celebrates the new year, many offices and businesses will be closed Friday to observe the holiday in Guthrie County. 

The Guthrie County Courthouse, Guthrie County Extension Office will be closed Monday. Stuart City Hall will be closed tomorrow and Friday while Guthrie Center City Hall will be closed for New Years Eve. The Panora City Hall and Library will be open Friday.

The Stuart Library will be closed tomorrow and Friday and the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library will be closed Friday.
