The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved a Lifequest contract addendum at their regular meeting Tuesday.
The contract addendum for Lifequest, which handles the EMS billing, lowered the cost from on the fees for collections. Also, the Board approved appointments to the board of health and conservation board.
Also, the Board approved the second reading and waived the third reading of proposed amendments to Chapter 3 Code of Ordinances for establishing county supervisor districts and election precincts after the most recent census data was released, which will include 12 new precincts.
Additionally, the Board held a wetland bank workshop discussing the City of Perry and its inquiry into purchasing wetland credits which would be used for the airport expansion while also seeing if the County could do development for more wetland credits. The Board also discussed future county and court space needs, but took no action on the item.
Finally, the Board moved into an exempt session for the purpose of conducting a negotiations strategy meeting.
