AC/GC girls basketball has a winning record of 4-3 so far this season and sits in the middle of the pack in the West Central Activities Conference.

The Chargers have found a lot of production from their Sophomore forward Mersadez Richter who leads the team in points scored, rebounds and is second on the team in steals. Coach Brad Baudler says she has taken big strides as a sophomore.

” She had a pretty solid three point shooter, and she knows how to hit the little midrange and make lay ups, so she’s benefiting a lot off of Alaina (Bunde) and then also she’s she stepped up her game a lot. She’s coming to practice a really positive attitude and worked her tail off. And I guess she’s shown what she’s capable of and is a great one two punch with those two down low.

Richter has averaged 8.9 points per game and also averaging 6.3 rebounds per game with a big game scoring 14 points in a win against Glidden-Ralston.
