After being reopened due to the recent storms that blew through Dallas County, a disposal site closes this Sunday in Perry.

The yard waste disposal site located near the Sanitation Department remains open until Sunday and it is open 24 hours a day to allow Perry residents to dispose of debris from the December 15th storm and it will be monitored with the cameras. 

All violators will be charged a minimum fine of $500 for illegal dumping. Items to be allowed include tree limbs no longer than eight feet as well as leaves, shrubs and bushes. Items not allowed include tree stumps with root balls, tree limbs over eight feet long, construction materials and concrete among other things.
