Multiple fire departments responded to a barn fire on Christmas Eve in Panora.
Guthrie County Dispatch was notified of the fire at 1814 Utopia Street in Panora at about 6:45pm. Jamaica Fire Chief Bob Kempf says the barn was a total loss and upon arrival with the roof was fully engulfed in flames and the structure caved in. Kempf states he did not know what caused the fire or what was in the barn at the time.
The Panora, Yale, Bagley and Jamaica Fire Departments along with the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
