After a successful initial basketball season, the Greene County Youth Athletic Association is having another one beginning next month.

The Basketball Program Part Two is a continuation of the previously concluded first program that will teach boys and girls in 3rd through 6th grade the skills and fundamentals of the game, while putting those instructions into a game environment with scrimmages. The program will be from January 4th through February 23rd, with practices and scrimmages to take place at the Scranton Community Center for 3rd and 4th graders from 5:30-7pm on Tuesdays and for 5th and 6th graders on Wednesdays also from 5:30-7pm.

For those kids that participated in the first session, registration for the second session is $20 and registration for those that didn’t is $35, which also includes a shirt, shorts and gym fees.
