Wednesday, December 22nd

12:57am: While conducting business checks, an Officer located an Open door in the 2200 block of North Mulberry Street. The Officer secured the door and notified the business owner.

8:10am: Jim Burton of Jefferson reported a possible phone scam. The Officer advised him what action to take to correct the situation.

11:34am: Valerie Levy of Jefferson reported possible harassment by text message. The Officer is investigating.

2:48pm: An Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of West Washington Street for a fire alarm activation. The alarm was accidental and the Officer was told to disregard the call.

3:12pm: Charles Bartholow of Jefferson reported loud music in the 600 block of South Olive Street. The music had stopped by the time the report was made.

6:17pm: The Greene County Law Enforcement Center received several reports of fireworks being set off near the 700 block of South Wilson Street. When the Officer arrived, the fireworks had stopped.

6:52pm: An Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 220th Street and North Elm Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Ryan James Brown of Jefferson was issued citations for “Driving While Suspended” and Operating a Non Registered Vehicle”
