With the Christmas holiday coming up this week, several offices and businesses in Jefferson will be closed.

The Greene County ISU Extension Office is closed Wednesday through Friday and the Greene County Courthouse is closed Thursday and Friday. The Jefferson City Hall and Greene County Community Center are closed at noon on Thursday and will remain closed on Friday. The Jefferson Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday in observance of the Christmas holiday. The Jefferson Post Office will only be closed on Christmas Day.

Library staff reminds patrons that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
