Dallas Center – Grimes wrestling was able to put together a winning record on Saturday in the Al Garrison Memorial Duals, as they were able to go 3-2 on the day.

The Mustangs were able to post wins over Des Moines Roosevelt 78-3, Perry 64-18, and Urbandale 39-31. They were unable to post victories over Johnston 36-33, and Waukee Northwest 46-30.

The results came across well for the Mustangs, including from Logan Gard at 132, as he was able to post a perfect record on the day, spearheading the DCG charge. At 145, Kieran Shawhan was also able to put together a nice day as well for the Mustangs.

For DCG, they will be not be having any events the next couple of weeks due to the holidays, but will be back in full force once the calendar hits 2022.
