Christopher Kurtinitis, Dallas Center, was traveling in the 14000 Block of N Ave when he hit a bale of hay that had rolled out of a truck driven by Erin Cavalier, Bouton.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Kurtinitis vehicle was estimated at $2000.

Dec. 14

Richard Webb, age 44, 1516 Hawthorne Ln, Jefferson, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Dec. 16

Lakaren Humanes, age 30, 2517 Jensen Ave, Ames, was arrested for two counts of Child Endangerment, Failure To Affix Drug Stamp and Possession Of Controlled Substance.

Ulysses Pankey, age 48, 1105 16th St, Boone, was arrested for two counts of Child Endangerment, Failure To Affix Drug Stamp and Possession Of Controlled Substance.

Jennifer Hoben, Adel, was traveling south on Nile Kinnick Dr, when Beverly Kimrey, Adel pulled out of a driveway and collided with Hoben.  There were no injuries reported.  Damage to Ms. Hoben’s car were estimated at $3000 and was privately towed.  Damage to Ms. Kimrey’s vehicle was estimated at $2000 and was also towed from the scene.

Dec. 17

Mark Haynes, Des Moines, was driving a semi and trailer, south on Guthrie St at Elm St in De Soto.  He clipped the back of a vehicle driven by Brandy Underberg, Urbandale, who was stopped to make a turn.  Mr. Haynes was then overcorrected and lost control of the semi, hitting a vehicle driven by Amanda Rodriguez, Grimes, before he rolling the semi into the ditch and onto it’s side.  Ms. Underberg was the only reported injuries and was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital for evaluation.  No other injuries were reported.  Damage to Mr. Haynes vehicle was estimated at $20000.  Damage to Ms. Underberg’s vehicle was estimated at $2000 and damage to Ms. Rodriguez vehicle was estimated at $2000.

Shane Davis, age 44, 404 SW 2nd St, Stuart, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.

William Kness, age 37, 107 E. North St, Lacona, was arrested on a warrant for Criminal Mischief and Theft.

Dec. 18

Alexander Williams, Van Meter, was traveling in the 27000 block 360th St, Van Meter, when he lost control of his vehicle and  went into the ditch.  He was transported to the hospital by Dallas county EMS and the investigation continues.

Tracy Hogan, Redfield, was traveling in the 200 block of State St, Dexter, when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $6000.

David Drake, age 40, 1801 S B Ct, Indianola, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Dec. 19

Anna Talbott, Perry, was traveling south in the 12000 block of Hwy 169, when she lost control and went into the ditch, rolling the vehicle one time.  She was checked out by EMS, but not transported to the hospital.  Damage was estimated at $3000.

Breeya Moritz, age 20, 2205 Court St, Granger, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.

Joseph Cackler, age 20, 1600 NW 114th, Clive, was arrested for a Registration Violation of the Sex Offender Registry.

Dec. 20

Richard Tindrell, age 35, 930 School St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.
