The WCV boys and girls battled the Madrid Tigers Friday night.

The girls were first up in the double-header. The girls were looking to get back to .500 on the season. The Wildcats were locked in a tough defensive game. However, the Wildcats were too much for the Tigers. WCV won 43-22.

The boys were trying to pick up their third win of the season. They fought hard against Madrid. It was back and forth with the Tigers holding a 28-23 lead at halftime. However, the third quarter was difference. Madrid outscored WCV 31-7. This would give them the 76-46 win.

The boys will be back on the hardwood Tuesday to take on AG/GC. Tipoff is at 7:15pm in Adair.
