If you want to come browse local goods in Perry, the last Fall Market of the season is taking place today.
The Fall Market will be running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Room at the Perry Public Library. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the market is a good way to stock up on some last minute gifts and food such as jams and jellies among other things.
“We’ll have seven vendors there and we will look to do a winter market during the Chocolate Walk in February and then I think we are going to do a spring market before we get into the summer. Just really exciting to see that momentum from the summer farmers market carry over, people are excited to have that taste of the market throughout the fall even though it’s monthly, they’ve had a good turnout.”
The Fall Market has run for the last few months, once a month, at the Perry Library as a continuation of the market season after vendors and shoppers alike wanted more farmers markets following the summer season.
