After the recent storms that moved through the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area, the City of Perry has reopened the yard waste disposal site. 

The yard waste disposal site located near the Sanitation Department is back open until January 2nd and the gate will be open all hours to allow Perry residents to dispose of debris from the most recent storm and it will be monitored with the cameras. 

All violators will be charged a minimum fine of $500 for illegal dumping. Items to be allowed include tree limbs no longer than eight feet as well as leaves, shrubs and bushes. Items not allowed include tree stumps with root balls, tree limbs over eight feet long, construction materials and concrete among other things.
