wcv-10

WCV girls basketball fell below .500 after a loss at home to Earlham.

This was the second game of the week for the Wildcats. They played Paton-Churdan and won 58-30. They were back home Tuesday night to take on the Cardinals. It was a classic defensive struggle. This comes as no surprise because both teams are low scoring defensive teams. WCV averaged 28 point per game and Earlham averaged 43.

It was a hard fought battle to the end. The Cardinals managed to come away with the win, 39-36. Earlham will improve to 5-1 on the season and WCV will drop to 3-4. The Wildcats will be back home to take on Madrid Friday. Tipoff is at 6pm.
