A public meeting is taking place today in Grand Junction for a proposed utility project.
National Grid Renewables is hosting an open house later today at the Grand Junction City Hall for a solar panel project. The solar project includes generating 150-megawatts of solar energy which is proposed to be developed on about 1,345 acres of land one mile south of the City of Grand Junction. The open house includes information about the project and the timeline along with answering questions for those who attend.
The come and go event is from 10am-2pm and it is open to the public.
