The Perry boys basketball team took another one on the chin Tuesday night, losing to PCM 70-37.  The young and undersized Perry team played hard for the first five minutes but struggled the rest of the way as PCM mounted a 27 – 2 run to put the game away by halftime.  The Mustangs led 41-10 at halftime.  An aggressive half court zone defense led to several transition baskets during the run including a couple of slam dunks by 6-6 big man Durant Van Dyke.

Perry showed flashes of the up tempo style that they want to play in the third quarter when they rattled off 18 points over a six minute span.  Zander Mahler led Perry with 14 points, while Drake Levan added 8.  Matt Booker chipped in five points and five rebounds.  Perry falls to 0-5 while PCM improves to 3-5.
