While it was brought on by popular demand, a new fall farmers market will have its last offering this weekend.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce created the Fall Market after suggestions from shoppers and vendors following  this year’s summer market. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says similar vendors from the summer market have been at the new fall market.

“We have a handful of our regular summer farmers market vendors come join us. A lot of baked goods this time of year which will be really nice for the holidays.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio you can expect to find things like black walnuts and baked goods, along with gifts for the Christmas season. Pasutti says the fall market has limited space for a scaled down version of the summer market.

“We don’t really have the space to open it up to be a wider vendor fair but it really is just an offshoot of our summer farmers market with your favorite vendors with lots of baked goods and other items as well.”

The last fall market of the year will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Room at the Perry Public Library.
