Dallas Center – Grimes boys basketball is off to a 4-0 start on the season, as they were able to post a pair of wins these last few days with a 73-27 win over Grinnell and a 49-48 thriller over Des Moines Christian on Saturday.

Mustang basketball has been able to rely on their high octane offense once again averaging 65.8 points per game on the season, and the team shooting nearly 48% from the field. They’ve had balanced scoring so far with senior Cole Glasgow averaging 12.5 points per game and senior Bo Huston averaging 11.7 points per game. They’ve also been able to give themselves a few second chances at buckets as well with a team average of 8.3 rebounds per game.

Defensively they have been good so far with holding opponents to under 50 points in three of their four games, and have made things difficult for opponents as well.

DCG boys will have a big game coming up on Friday night when they host Indianola at home in Grimes.
