The Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams continued their seasons Friday night when they headed to Stuart to take on the West Central Valley Wildcats.

The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team headed into Friday night looking to pick up their second win of the season. The Panthers boys picked up their second win of the season Friday night over the Wildcats by a score of 64-40.

The Panthers boys went into half time leading by a score of 27-21 but used turned it on in the second half to pull away by scoring 37 points in the second half to best the Wildcats by 24 points at the end of the game and move to 2-3 on the season.

The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team continued their dominant start to the season with a 70-21 victory over the West Central Valley Wildcats in Stuart Friday night and continued their unbeaten streak, moving to 5-0 on the season so far.

During the game against the Wildcats Friday night the Panthers girls had multiple contributors on the offensive side as Payton Beckman put up 20 points, Tyme Boettcher added another 14 points while Angel Poldberg added 10 points to make up the three Panthers girls who scored double digit points but there was plenty of offensive production as the Panthers scored 70 points.

The Panthers got out to an early lead as they went into halftime up 45-16. Panthers girls coach Kylee Boettcher says throughout the game multiple girls stepped up to contribute on the offensive side while a strong defensive performance helped guide them to another win as well.

For the Panorama Panthers girls and boys basketball teams they will look to continue their seasons when they face off against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners in Panora on Tuesday with the girls scheduled for tipoff at 6:00 p.m. and the boys set to begin at 7:30 p.m. from Panorama High School.
