As the holiday season continues on, many workers at a large employer in Perry will be receiving a special bonus this year. 

Tyson Foods announced that it will be giving frontline, hourly team members a bonus ranging from $300-$700 and will be based on their tenure. The bonus equates to approximately $50 million in year-end bonuses, which includes the plant in Perry that employs roughly 1,300 workers. 

The bonuses are part of an initiative that has seen $500 million in wage increases and ‘thank you’ bonuses for frontline employees over the past year, this also included a $200 for employees who could show proof of vaccinations.
