Monday, November 29th

5:59am: Oly’s Corner reported a Gas Drive Off from 208 West Lincoln Way Street. The vehicle left without paying for $32.35 in fuel. The subject called later and arranged payment of the debt.

1:07pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 500 Block of North Cedar Street for, “Truck/RV/Trailer Parking Violation.”

2:33pm: The Greene County High School requested an officer at 1901 North Grimmell Street for a student who had been caught with a bottle of alcohol. The officer removed the student to be picked up at the LEC by a parent. The officer will send a charge to the Juvenile Court for a 15- year-old female for, “Possession of Alcohol Under Legal Age.”

6:16pm: Officers were requested at 777 Wild Rose Casino for a subject disturbing other gamers on the Gaming Floor. The officer spoke to the subject and advised him the casino wished for him to leave, due to his behavior. He agreed and left the business on his own.

10:30pm: A caller advised of Loud Music in the 100 Block of West Vest Street. The officer spoke to a resident in the area, who turned the music level down.

Tuesday, November 30th

7:59am: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Nate Hicks of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

10:55am: The Wild Rose Casino, located at 777 Wild Rose Lane, reported an unknown driver had struck a light pole in the parking lot. The estimate for damages is $3200.00. They are reviewing video to help identify the vehicle involved.

12:24pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of South Wilson Ave.

5:16pm: Dave Sayre reported a vehicle with no taillights on South Elm Street, heading north. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

5:32pm: An officer removed yard waste from the roadway on East Cedar Street, between Cedar and Locust Streets.

5:46pm: A caller advised of a Suspicious Vehicle parked in the 100 Block of West Vest Street. The officer located the vehicle and found no infractions occurring.

6:21pm: Vincent Ratliff spoke to an officer about receiving Robo Calls. The officer could offer no assistance, other than to block the number from calling him.

Wednesday, December 1st

9:24am: An officer investigated a Rear End Collision in the 300 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. A 2021 Ford Escape, owned by Mclaughlin Motors of Coon Rapids and driven by Regan Williams of Jefferson, was stopped in traffic near the posted stop sign at Elm and Lincoln Way. Williams was struck from behind by a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, owned and operated by Junior Aguilar Gutierres of Jefferson. The Williams vehicle suffered a reported $1500.00 in damages, while the Aguilar Gutierres vehicle had a reported $5000.00 in damages. Gutierres was cited for, “Fail to Stop within An Assured Clear Distance Ahead.”

11:34am: An officer unlocked a running vehicle with a dog locked inside in the 300 Block of North Chestnut Street.

9:59am: Miller Chiropractic reported a Stray Dog at 206 North Grimmell Road. The officer returned the animal to the owner, who had reported it missing the prior day.

2:45pm: Valentino Whitaker reported the Theft of $750.00 Cash from his vehicle while parked at 205 West McKinley Street. The officer is investigating.

11:01pm: An officer closed an Open Overhead Door at the Fairgrounds.

Thursday, December 2nd

11:20am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

12:45pm: Ron Wright turned in a package he had located in the street. The officer contacted an Ogden company and advised them to pick up the package at the LEC.

3:32pm: Tony Sparks reported two Stray Dogs at 307 North Locust Street. The officer did not locate the animals.

4:03pm: Richard Roland reported a Stray Dog at 911 North Pinet Street. The officer arrived and spoke to a subject, who had the animal in her car. She advised it had gotten away from her for a few minutes. The officer advised he she could face a citation in the future if this were to continue.

5:49pm: Unity Point requested an officer at 1002 West Lincoln Way for a subject hearing a bang and now there is broken glass in the parking lot. The officer determined the glass came from a light bulb being broken on the concrete.

8:51pm: HyVee requested an officer at 106 West Washington Street for a customer, who was bothering customers and staff members. The officer ended up driving the subject to his residence on North Chestnut Street and calling for the GC Ambulance to check on the male. The male refused medical attention.

9:01pm: Casey’s reported a Stray Dog at 508 North Elm Street. The officer enroute to the Animal Holding Facility when the owner called and advised her dog was missing. The officer returned the animal to its owner.
