WCV wrestling is finally hitting the mats for the first time this season.

The Wildcats are focused on getting back to state after a disappointing end to the 2021 season. WCV managed to get two wrestlers go on to districts. However, they were unable to make it to Wells Fargo Arena. Something they managed to do in 2020.

The road back to Wells Fargo Arena starts tonight as they’ll be competing in the East Union quad. They’ll be up against Nodaway Valley, AC/GC, and of course East Union. The Wildcats will have a team filled with juniors and seniors looking to lead the team back to Des Moines.
