Dallas Center – Grimes Mustang wrestling will be taking on the Norwalk Warriors in Little Hawkeye conference play tonight, as they open up their season in Grimes. It will be both teams first match of the year, as both will have an opportunity to make an early statement before big tournaments this upcoming weekend.

DCG was able to put together a nice season last year as they took on some excellent competition against all three classes, and their schedule is expected to be as difficult for 2021-22. Mustang wrestling will be bringing back a good amount of returners, as they had a pair of wrestlers advance to state last year, and love what the senior class could potentially do for this program this year.

First match for varsity is projected to be at 6:30, as DCG will be looking to put together a sharp performance against a good opponent.
