Greene County Singers performing at Scranton's Sesquicentennial in 2019

A community choir ensemble will be performing twice this weekend in Greene County.

The Greene County Singers are having two concerts on Sunday, with the first one at Central Christian Church in Jefferson at 3:30pm and the second at Grand Junction Community Center for the Jingle Into Junction event from 5-7pm.

Director Sheilah McGregor Pound says the 3:30pm performance will feature a “Carpenter’s Christmas Medley,” “Still a Bach Lullaby” that combines the classic sounds of Johann Sebastian Bach and traditional Christmas carols together, and “Stars I Shall Find,” among other songs. The second performance that will wrap up the Jingle Into Junction event will also feature holiday music.

Both concerts are free and open to the public.
