There will be plenty of holiday-themed events throughout the month of December, and you can now register for one upcoming in Adel. 

The Adel Parks and Recreation Department announced a new holiday program that will allow children to decorate a dozen sugar Christmas cookies to take home. After children are done decorating cookies they will get to enjoy hot chocolate and the movie “The Santa Clause.”

The event will be from 1-3 p.m. December 22nd with a deadline to register on December 17th and a cost of $10 with fun activities. The program will take place in the Adel Public Library Community Room and for more information and to register you can go here. There is no age limit for the program.
