For those who have an enjoyment in reading books, an annual program begins today with the Perry Public Library.
For children, teens and adults, the winter reading program begins today with the library and runs until February 28th. For adults and teens the program consists of reading books and writing reviews which will then earn entries into the prize drawings.
For adults, the monthly prizes consist of local gift cards and a Kindle Fire for the grand prize, and for teens the monthly prize is a $20 gift card to the Perry Grand 3 Theatre and the grand prize is $100 Perry Bucks.
The children’s program focuses on reading books and recording minutes and will receive prizes for 10, 20 and 40 hours of reading and then 50 and above hours of reading they will receive a grand prize entry for a pizza party among other things.
