A fun event will take place this weekend in Perry to raise money that will go toward a good cause.

The 8th Annual Cookie Walk will take place this Saturday from 9-11 a.m. in the Perry High School Commons. People will be able to purchase homemade holiday treats including cookies, candy, bread and special holiday treats and it will feature local bakers.

The money raised goes to support the Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) classes with the Perry School District with service projects and class activities. iJAG is a non-profit organization that helps connect business and education to provide dropout prevention and school to career solutions in Iowa.
