For the Panorama Panthers boys basketball team last season was a successful one that saw them have an impressive record, but this season the team will look different.

Last season the Panthers were made up of  quite a few seniors that played their last game for Panorama when the season concluded last year against the Van Meter Bulldogs in Adel for the Class 2A Substate 8 Semifinal game where they lost 57-55. Head Coach Nick Peasley says when the Panthers boys step out onto the court, fans should be patient with the new group of players.

“Be patient. We have got a completely new team but they are going to be a lot of fun. Come out and support these boys, they work their tails off for us every single day.”

Peasley tells Raccoon Valley Radio while the team has quite a few new faces the team will only get better as the season continues on. Peasley encourages Panther fans to come out and support the boys basketball team throughout the season.

The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team will step out on the court for the first time this season tonight against the Mount Ayr Raiders with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. after the girls game which begins at 6 p.m.
