The WCV wrestling team learned their district location and schedule for the postseason last week.

The Wildcats will be wrestling in Class 1A District 5. They will be participating in Riverside. That grouping will include: AC/GC, Bedford-Lenox, East Mills, East Union, Griswold, Riverside, and Southwest Valley.

It’ll be a tough battle for WCV because a few of these schools will have great returning wrestlers. Including a few state wrestlers from last season. WCV fell just short of state in 2020-21. For the Wildcats the journey back to Wells Fargo Arena starts in Oakland.
