The WCV boys basketball season was scheduled to start last night.

It was supposed to be a scrimmage against Coon Rapids-Bayard. It is titled the Pride Scrimmage and all proceeds go to youth basketball programs for Coon Rapids-Bayard. However, the season won’t start until Monday November 29th. WCV was also replaced with IKM-Manning in the scrimmage.

The reason for WCV not participating in the scrimmage is due to a scheduling conflict. The Wildcats and IKM-Manning were both scheduled for the event. WCV made the decision to step down and IKM-Manning will play Coon Rapids-Bayard.

The Wildcats will take the time to get some more practice in before their first game. They’ll be on the road takin on Southeast Warren at 7pm.
