In the spirit of the holidays, an event in Perry will look a little different this year.
The Festival of Trees Reshuffled is an ongoing event in Perry which will have trees placed at various businesses around town rather than all at the Carnegie Library Museum. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti talks about the changes.
“We are helping coordinate a Festival of Trees Reshuffled. So, a lot of the same business and community organizations and individuals that typically participate with the Festival of Trees at the Carnegie Library will be doing things a little bit differently, decorating their own buildings or popping up in area locations to still support this idea of the Festival of Trees.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio there are many businesses participating in the event for people to view from November 26th until December 26th. Pasutti says a map will be put together for people to see where they can view the trees.
“A lot of downtown businesses will have trees or decorations in their windows viewed from outside from the street, from the sidewalk, but we even have some that are all around town that’s more of a drive by viewing.”
