The Perry wrestling program reported over 55 kids out for the sport this week when official practice opened up Monday.  A late surge in the freshman class was a big reason for the last second spike.  First year Head Coach Chris Dardanes is very popular with the students and was able to get some athletes out for the sport.  Dardanes next challenge will be to take a fairly young and inexperienced squad and get them ready for Heart of Iowa conference competition.  Raccoon Valley Radio will have a complete preview in the days ahead.
