As the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team is preparing for the beginning of the upcoming season, they will be looking to continue the culture of winning basketball.

Throughout the history of the Panthers girls basketball program dating back to the 2006-2007 season the program has been historically good winning double digit games in each season and only losing 61 games dating back in those 15 seasons.

Panorama Panthers girls basketball coach Kylee Boettcher says the program is something that every young girl knows about in the Panorama community and that youth become invested in the fundamentals of the sport at a very young age. Boettcher says the program continues to get youth involved and interested in the sport.

When the Panthers girls basketball team takes the court this year Boettcher says she looks to continue to grow the winning culture that exists within the program as she moves into another year as the head coach for the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team.

“One thing that we have always had here is just a high level of expectation right? I mean every year just knowing that yeah you want to win your conference but it’s bigger than that. We want to get down to the state tournament, we want to be able to win games down there. It’s just something that’s talked about, that’s just kind of the program and the way we operate.”

The season for the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team will officially begin when they take on the Mount Ayr Raiders beginning at 6 p.m. November 30th right at home in Panora at Panorama High School.
