An open visitation for Penny Veatch, 78, of Fontanelle will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield from 2-7 p.m. The family will greet friends on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield from 5-7 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held at 70 p.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church on Monday, November 22, 2021. 

Mass of Christian Burial ill be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield with burial following in the Fontanelle Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held at the church following the committal services at the cemetery.

Penny is survived by three children (Angie (husband Dwight Lauer)of Winterset, Iowa, Jason (wife Jo) of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Katie (husband Nathaniel Branzuela) of Lincoln, California)); 8 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren – Travis Veatch (wife Amber); children Lucas and Kinsley); Justina Veatch (friend, Billy Burd), (Children Jayda and Devin and their father TJ Hawley (wife Carmen of Greenfield, Iowa)); (Children Zander and Brooklyn Burd of Joplin, Missouri); Kyle Lauer (wife Dawn; Children Natalie and Evan); Amanda (husband Chad Green; Children Calin, Layni and Chett); Jordan Veatch(Arizona); Jake Veatch (Waukee, Iowa); Dylan Branzuela (California); Owen Branzuela (California).
