Tuesday, November 16th

7:37am: Lois Brant reported a Stray Poodle running loose on West South Street. The officer did not locate the reported animal.

9:48am: An officer was requested to check on a cow on 220th, near Finn Pond. The cow jumped the fence and went back into the field. The officer called and advised the owner of the event.

3:30pm: Steven Harms reported a juvenile male going through a mailbox in the 100 Block of West Vest Street. The officer has developed a suspect and is investigating.

4:36pm: Officers were requested at the GCMC Emergency Room for an Unruly Patient.

5:40pm: An officer investigated a Three Vehicle Accident in the 1200 Block of North Elm Street. A 2002 Ford Ranger, owned and operated by Kim Hill of Jefferson, was southbound in the inside lane of North Elm. Hill did not yield to an oncoming vehicle while making a left turn into Fareway and struck a northbound vehicle. The 2007 Dodge Charger was driven by Kaine Herrington of Fort Dodge. The collision pushed the Ford Ranger into a vehicle sitting in the driveway, waiting to enter onto Elm Street. The vehicle was a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country Van, owned and operated by Stephanie Bailey of Churdan. All vehicles involved suffered damage. Hill was cited for, “Fail to Yield Upon a Left Turn.”

8:17pm: Aimee Parnell requested officers in the 200 Block of West Harrison Street for an Unruly daughter refusing to get back into her vehicle. The officers arrived and diffused the situation and the child left with her mother.
