For the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team the hopes for this season will to be to continue their history of a winning record, and some key contributors will be returning for the Panthers this season.

Last year the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team finished the season with an overall record of 19-5 and performed well in the postseason making it all the way to the Class 3A Region 1 Championship game where they eventually fell by a score of 74-46.

The team from last year only had three seniors who played their last games for the Panthers in Shey Storesund, Jaden Johnson and Ella Waddle but this season there will be plenty of players returning to the court from last year’s successful team.

For the Panthers this year one of their key contributors will be returning to the court for her final season in Payton Beckman. Beckman averaged 20.3 points per game last year and will look to be a key piece of the Panthers team this year. Beckman also recently committed to play basketball for the Northwestern Red Raiders after high school.

Also there are plenty of other players returning to the court this year for a Panthers team that will be looking to return to the postseason, there are also a number of freshman who will be on the team this year.

The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team will be looking to get their season started against the Mount Ayr Raiders beginning at 6 p.m. November 30th at Panorama High School.
